Dakar, Senegal (PANA) - Senegalese marked the second anniversary of the death of the former Senegalese President and poet, Leopold Sedar Senghor, Saturday, with several activities including a symposium organised by the Socialist Party (PS) which he founded.

The events started Friday with cultural activities organised by the PS, followed by an exhibition and a symposium held at the party's Political Bureau, an impressive building now named after Senghor, who died in France, 20 December 2001.
