MOSCOW -- Russian lawyer Pavel Astakhov has sent a letter to the U.S. Embassy, saying he would like to represent Saddam Hussein, Gazeta reported Thursday.
Astakhov made the request to U.S. President George W. Bush, and to U.S. Ambassador Alexander Vershbow, the paper said.
