The media has been repeating the expression of a fair trial ever since [former Iraqi President] Saddam Husayn was arrested. The intention of those who repeated this expression in the past, those who say it now, and those will probably say it in the future, is to verify what the defendant did. His punishment should be commensurate with his crimes if he is found guilty. All parties are now asking for a fair trial or are promising such a fair trial.
