Venice High School students are being recognized for outstanding academic performance as well as classroom improvement in a program called Renaissance.
Renaissance is a national program that promotes and recognizes academic excellence, continuous improvement, responsibility and citizenship.
"We are not the National Honor Society," said Loray Biziewski, who has been operating the program for more than six years.
