While one camp wants the Parliamentary Select Committee on Constitutional Review chairman Paul Muite axed, another is trying to unseat the Constitution of Kenya Review Commission chairman Yash Pal Ghai.

Remarkably, as a scheme gets underway to remove Mr Paul Muite as chairman of the PSC, another is playing out within the Constitution of Kenya Review Commission to axe chairman Yash Pal Ghai.

In the wider factional war over the constitution review, the LDP is spearheading the battle against Mr Muite while the move against Prof Ghai is being seen as a crusade by the pro-NAK commissioners.
