Rotch Energy of Britain will not take part in Unipetrol sale.

PRAGUE, Dec 11 (CTK) - British firm Rotch Energy will not be bidding for a state-held stake in petrochemical holding company Unipetrol because of bad experience with the previous tender and unclear structure of the current privatisation, Rotch Energy PR agent Jiri Smid told CTK today.

The British firm took part in the first unsuccessful attempt to privatise Unipetrol and was put on the short list of four candidates.

By Monday, a total of 14 investors had sent in their bids for the 63-pct stake in Unipetrol, with Jan 12 next year the deadline for presenting preliminary offers.
