Latvia should lift entry ban on controversial Russian politician - newspaper.

The Latvian newspaper Latvijas Avize has supported a suggestion by a leading Latvian politician that the ban against the Russian politician Vladimir Zhirinovskiy entering the country be lifted. The newspaper pointed out that Zhirinovskiy is just one of a number of Russian politicians who have made false or outrageous claims about Latvia, suggesting that if the government does not ban all of them, then there is no point in banning just one.
