It is wonderful to be pleasantly surprised when someone who represents the old school of morality is obviously still around. More surprising yet if the man is in politics as we know it today. Considering how local politics go and especially how politicians toy around with the populace, how delightful to see someone stand apart from the generally disappointing lot. For example, how can a thinking voter really fathom what in the name of heavens is driving Ed Angara to champion the candidacy of obviously inexperienced and unqualified Fernando Poe, Jr.? There's gotta be a political gimmick, to say the least.
