TOKYO, Dec 10 Asia Pulse -Japan Communications Inc. (JCI), a mobile virtual network operator, will provide subscribers to its b-mobile u100c data communications service with free access to a huge number of wireless LAN hot spots covering much of the nation.

Starting Wednesday, subscribers will gain free access to more than 2,200 wireless LANs, and JCI is forging agreements that will increase that number to more than 3,000 before the end of the year. Once accomplished, its subscribers will have access to some 75 per cent of all public wireless LAN nodes in the nation.

The b-mobile u100c service is a flat-rate 128kbps data …
