Follow-on Orders to Initial Contracts are Expected to Exceed
$1 Million in the First Half of 2004
MicroTel International Inc. (OTCBB:MCTL), an international manufacturer of defense and aerospace electronic components and subsystems and communication equipment, today announced that its French subsidiary, CXR Anderson Jacobson ("CXR-AJ") has received a second round order totaling $180,000 for its network access product for use in the local telephone loop for Algerian Telecom. This order brings the second half 2003 total of such orders to in excess of $500,000 from this and other North African countries. Based upon initial contracts in this and other North African countries, CXR-AJ expects follow-on business in the first half of 2004 to exceed $1 million.
Eric Piaget, Director of Sales and Marketing for CXR-AJ, stated, "We foresee rapid growth for our products in the North African markets not only for telecom customers such as Algerian and Moroccan telecos, but also for additional countries and markets including military and corporate customers."
