While some Asian delegates talked about the importance of media and government working together to bring peace and prosperity to their countries, one journalist believes that concept has gone too far in Malaysia.

S.S. Yoga, representing the National Union of Journalists in Malaysia, is challenging colleagues in his country to "strive for reforms within the profession" and "educate the public on their rights for a free media and access to information."
