The University of Bahrain and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) are organising a two-day national workshop on integrated coastal area management (ICAM) in the Pearl Hall, Gulf Hotel from tomorrow. The workshop aims to review the ICAM processes and framework on the basis of the lessons learned from other small island states and to explore how the concept and some of the lessons can serve as a basis for developing an ICAM national initiative in Bahrain.
