Who wouldn't want to turn back the aging clock 20 or so years?

Bobbie Walck, 53, of Osprey saw it as a chance in a lifetime. And John Rankin, her significant other of 30-plus years, saw it as a way for the love of his life to be able to "realign her appearance with her younger inner spirit and love of life," Rankin wrote in a letter for a locally held "Extreme Makeover" contest where a plastic surgeon and dentist would work their magic -- for free -- on someone.

And there was an added bonus: A local charity, SPARCC (Safe Place and Rape Crisis Center), would receive proceeds from tickets sold for a related event held in August at the Radisson Lido Beach Resort.

Walck's smile is now radiant with porcelain veneers, compliments of Dr. Jill Morris, and her blond hair frames a face where her hazel eyes sparkle against smooth skin. Dr. David Holcomb did a limited incision brow lift, a face and neck lift, an upper and lower eye lift and laser skin resurfacing.
