1. Daryl Smith, 6-2, 234, Georgia Tech. The quarterback of Tech's defense, he has improved his stock with his performance this season. Is an athletic player with speed, range and strength at the point. A good tackler with the ability to recover. Shows instincts. Has some limitations in coverage.

2. Dontarrious Thomas, 6-2, 232, Auburn. Stock has fallen with a disappointing senior year. Rangy player who is competitive and smart. Hits hard. Is a little stiff in space and misses some tackles. Is better against the run than the pass. Could be a weakside linebacker.

3. Richard Seigler, 6-2, 235, Oregon State. Instinctive, tough player with a good motor. Finds the ball. Has OK speed. Slips blocks instead of taking them on. Lacks coverage skills. Has been productive for four years.

4. Grant Wiley, 6-1,230, West Virginia. Is a good running-down player with instincts and a big heart. Doesn't have ideal height, range or strength at the point, but makes up for it with competitiveness.

5. Ryan Fowler, 6-4, 235, Duke. Is a tall linebacker with toughness and a feel for the game. Is solid between the tackles. Not a gifted athlete. Doesn't have great speed.
