(SGT-HANOI) The Ho Chi Minh Highway will pass through Cuc Phuong National Park in the northern province of Ninh Binh Province as approved by the Prime Minister despite earlier concern over the possible environmental impacts.

The Prime Minister is quoted in Document 1658 on December 1 asking ministries to seek measures to protect the environment and ensure flooding drainage to minimize possible impacts caused by the highway project.
