JAKARTA, Dec 1 Asia Pulse - Indonesia's exports to Japan in the January-August 2003 period totalled US$10.91 billion, while its imports from that country in the same period were recorded at US$4.6 billion, or a surplus of US$6.1 billion in favour of Indonesia.
A report filed by the Ministry of Industry and Trade in Tokyo for the October 2003 period indicated that Indonesia's exports to Japan in August valued at US$1.31 billion, or a decline by 7.98 per cent compared with that of July which stood at US$4.11 billion.
Indonesia's imports in the corresponding period were recorded at US$576.78 million, or a decline by 7.35 per cent compared with that of July which totalled US$622.53 million.
Records show that Indonesia's total exports of 50 non-oil commodities to Japan during the nine month period stood at US$5.22 billion, or an increase of 11.91 per cent compared ...
