SEOUL, Dec 1 Asia Pulse - Senior diplomats from South Korea, the United States and Japan will meet in Washington this week to discuss joint strategies ahead of soon-to-be-held multilateral talks on North Korea's nuclear weapons program, officials said Friday.
Attending the trilateral session, scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday, will be South Korea's Deputy Foreign Minister Lee Soo-hyuck, U.S. Assistant Secretary of State James Kelly and Mitoji Yabunaka, director general of the Asian and Oceanian Affairs Bureau at Japan's Foreign Ministry.
