FOREIGN TOURISTS VISITING BALI UP 20.14% IN OCT YEAR-ON-YEAR.
DENPASAR, Bali, Dec 1 Asia Pulse - The number of foreign tourists visiting Indonesia's popular resort island of Bali last October was recorded at 97,435, an increase of 20.14 per cent compared to the same month last year, an official said.
"Number of foreign travellers visiting Bali stood at 81,100 in October last year following the Bali bomb blast," head of Bali tourism office I Gde Pitana said.
Only about 2,700 foreign people flew to the world renown resort daily in October last year, decreasing from about 5,000 daily before bombs ripped through the Kuta beach resort on Oct 12, last year, he said. ...
