NEW DELHI, Dec 1 Asia Pulse - Soaring prices of vegetables and fruits, eggs, food products, edible oils, textiles and electricity pushed up India's inflation to 5.12 per cent for the week ended November 15, substantially higher than 3.39 per cent during the same period in the previous year.
The Wholelsale Price Index (WPI) inflation was up by 0.24 per cent from 4.88 per cent a week ago even as prices fell in the case of tea, fish-marine, gur, groundnut oil, ghee, bajra, ragi and condiments and spices.
