THE PROPERTY where the National Center for Mental Health sits is up for sale, and concerned NCMH doctors and personnel are worried about their patients.

The Department of Social Welfare and Development and the Department of Health have decided to sell the property to raise funds with which to build new hospitals and support other DSWD programs.

But NCMH doctors and personnel are strongly opposing the sale, saying that the patients will greatly suffer when they are transferred to other regional centers still to be put up.
