THE HEAD of the Laguna Lake Development Authority (LLDA) is under fire allegedly for failing to do his job because he is busy campaigning for President Macapagal-Arroyo.

LLDA employees on Thursday stormed out of their offices and demanded the resignation of LLDA General Manager Calixto Cataquiz.

The employees said Cataquiz has been acting as Ms Macapagal's de facto campaign manager in Laguna, Quezon, Rizal and parts of Metro Manila.

But during an interview, Cataquiz denied the charges, saying that he is "not openly" campaigning for the President.
