GAT ANDRES Bonifacio must have longed for his bolo yesterday after the rites commemorating his 140th birth anniversary boiled down to marchers talking of who to vote for in next year's presidential elections.

In a rally at the Mendiola in the afternoon, militant groups led by Bayan and Anakpawis wrapped up their program saying President Macapagal-Arroyo should not hope for their votes in 2004.

"We will not vote for her anymore," said Crispin Beltran, formerly Bayan Muna sectoral representative, now Anakpawis' chair for political concerns.

Beltran said Ms Macapagal was sitting atop an administration which he described as corrupt and tyrannical.

Also, Sen. Panfilo Lacson has been "scratched out" of their list of presidential candidates, Beltran said.
