It is a subject that most people prefer not to discuss. At least in "polite" society - and certainly not in front of the children. Which is a pity because if there was more open discussion about the subject, then perhaps it might be less of a problem. What is it? "It" is HIV/AIDS. Today is World AIDS Day. And sadly, there are many people who will not read beyond those words. For they still associate the disease as one that is caught by perverts and the promiscuous and thus, catching the disease is a form of punishment from on high and therefore justified.
