For most people, it's hard to rationalize spending $70,000 to $80,000 for a car. In terms of the basics, sedans that cost half that much, such as the V6-powered Volkswagen Passat, Honda Accord, and Toyota Camry have scored higher overall in our tests than most of the cars here.
