THERE will be a massive clean-up of the Selangor Customs Department, especially its Port Klang operations, in the wake of the stolen luxury car scandal.

The department will investigate its officers suspected of having direct or indirect shares in freight forwarding companies, and helping car theft syndicates export stolen luxury vehicles using dubious documentations.

"The officers are not supposed to have any shares or interest in such companies.

Those caught to be involved with the companies will be punished," its director, Datuk Wazir Mauz, said.
