Fans of Michael Jackson held candlelight vigils to support their idol as the entertainer hunkered down at a Nevada resort following his arrest this week on child molestation charges.

The beleaguered pop icon returned to Nevada Thursday, where he had been filming a video, after being freed on three million dollars' bail.

About 40 fans gathered at Jackson's star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame Saturday, watched by an equal number of reporters. "Michael, you are not alone," proclaimed one sign at the gathering. "This is an evil conspiracy," read another.
