Students from Makerere University Business School in Nakawa yesterday brought traffic on city streets to a standstill.

The demonstrating students marched from the main campus at Nakawa, besieged the ministry of Education headquarters at Embassy House for hours before they relocated to Parliament in the afternoon.

The students are demanding living-out allowances, and were demonstrating for the second day running.

On Wednesday they sealed off part of Old Port Bell Road near Nakawa for more than four hours.
