New drive implemented

to conserve water

A plan to eliminate the use of wasteful water facilities in public buildings has been announced by the Beijing Municipal Water Conservancy Bureau. Schools must implement water-saving facilities by the end of the year and hospitals, hotels and shops before March, the Beijing Daily reports.
