* Why isn't Quincy Wilson of West Virginia getting any publicity? I look at his build, running style and demeanor, and all I can think is Emmitt Smith. Forget Maurice Clarett. Wilson is the real deal.

* In regard to Matt Hayes' Six Picks (TSN, September 29): You must drink six beers before you pick. Nebraska has had one bad season over the past 40 years. Did you think the Cornhuskers would not come back? Nebraska could be the best overall program in the nation. If the Huskers ever learn to pass, look out. They can win the Big 12 North.
