Ankara, 19 November: Turkey signed natural gas agreement with Russia on Wednesday [19 November] at the end of 11-month negotiations that continued between Turkish state run pipeline company Botas and Russian natural gas company Gasprom.

Speaking in a news conference, Energy and Natural Resources Minister Hilmi Guler said that "we reached happy end after 11 months of negotiations. This agreement is the sign that the mistakes done so far will be corrected one by one".

Guler said that four different prices were reduced to one price, and the mediator company Turus Gas would not work anymore.
