The Ohio State University invites nominations and applications for the position of Dean of the College of Humanities. As the College's Chief Executive Officer, the Dean reports to the Executive Vice President and Provost of the University through the Executive Dean of Arts and Sciences.
Qualifications for the position include a distinguished record in research and teaching, demonstrated leadership and administrative ability. Candidates must quality for a tenured appointment as Professor in one of the departments in the College. The College is comprised of 14 departments and eight interdisciplinary centers. The College has 300 regular faculty and 150 staff with an annual budget of $45 million.
