THE UNIVERSITY OF TENNESSEE COLLEGE OF LAW invites applications for two full-time, tenure-track, faculty positions to commence in the fall semester of 2004. A J.D. or equivalent law degree is required. Successful applicants must have a strong academic background. Substantial professional experience is desirable. Candidates also must have a strong commitment to excellence in teaching, scholarship and service.

Although the teaching focus of each position is flexible, areas of particular need include Labor Law, Employment Law, Gratuitous Transfers (Trusts and Estates), and Wealth Transfer Tax. We also are strongly interested in candidates with expertise in Employee Benefits, Immigration and Constitutional Law. Candidates also should be willing to teach required first-year courses as needed.
