Roger Williams University, Division of Student Affairs, is conducting a search for a full-time Senior Associate Dean. This position is the Deputy Chief Student Affairs Officer, serving as Chief Student Affairs Officer in the absence of the dean and representing the Division of Student Affairs which includes, Counseling and Student Development, Campus Programs, Multi-cultural Affairs, Housing and Residence Life, Health Services, Judicial Affairs, Career Services, Womens Center, Intercollegiate Athletics (Division III), Intramural and Recreation, and Orientation. A principal component of the position's responsibility portfolio is the administration of the division's Department of Student Life.

The Senior Associate Dean shall provide direction, tutorial, evaluation substantive practice as necessary and position deployment to those areas of practice assigned, principally including the Office of Residence Life, the Housing Office and the Office of Judicial Affairs. This person will also, in collaboration with the Dean of Student Affairs and others as appropriate, study, develop and present for adoption, both strategic and operational plans for the continual improvement in efficacy of the University's Division of Student Affairs.
