The University of Maryland, College Park (UMCP), seeks outstanding candidates for the position of Dean of the School of Public Affairs. The Dean oversees all operations of the School, which provides graduate training in public policy, management, and international affairs. The School is ranked in the top 20 of all public policy and administration programs nationwide. It has more than 35 practitioner-scholars on the residential faculty, offers a variety of degrees and specializations, and operates several influential research centers. A degree at the doctoral level (in any field) is highly desirable, but outstanding candidates with the appropriate terminal degree (such as a J.D.) will also be considered.
