Bloomfield College seeks applications and nominations for the position of VPAA/Dean of Faculty, effective July 1, 2004.
The College seeks a dynamic talented administrator to advance the College's mission, "to prepare students to attain academic, personal and professional excellence in a multicultural and global society". Bloomfield College is a private four-year institution offering liberal arts and pre-professional degrees. We are affiliated with the Presbyterian Church and located fifteen miles west of New York City. The student population includes 2,000 undergraduate day, evening and weekend students, and hosts the most diverse student body in New Jersey. The faculty is organized as a chapter of the AAUP.
As Chief Academic Officer, the VPAA reports to the President of the College, leads and administers seven academic divisions (Accounting, Business, CIS and Economics; Creative Arts & Technology; Education; Humanities; Natural Sciences and Mathematics; Nursing & Social and Behavioral Sclences); and oversees recruitment, retention, development and promotion of the faculty.
