"I want my students to be thinking Christians," explained Markita Roberson, a graduate student at Vanguard University CA who is helping plan the school's new minor in Women's Studies.
One of 107 members of the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities, Vanguard has about 1,800 students, two-thirds of them female. Only about 10 schools in the council have such a minor.
