Females continue to lead the way to record high graduation rates for athletes, according to an annual report by the NCAA. More than 62% of scholarship athletes who started college in 1996 had graduated six years later, compared with 59% for the general student body (62% for females and 56% for males). For female scholarship athletes, the rate was 70%.
