Foreign groups line up to bid for stake in Rusia Petroleum.

International energy groups including US majors Chevron-Texaco and ConocoPhillips and France's Total are among 15 companies pitching to buy a 25.8-percent stake in the Russian oil group Rusia Petroleum, the business daily Vedomosti reported.

In view of the widespread interest, the shares could fetch between 200-500 million dollars (174-435 million uros) for Russian tycoon Vladimir Potanin's Interros holding company which owns them, analysts believe.
