VENICE -- Joseph Foglietta's brief reign as head of Venice's public housing project is over.
Foglietta, 71, accused by residents of being unresponsive and insensitive to their needs, has resigned as chairman of the Venice Housing Authority, which oversees the 50-unit Grove Terrace apartments.
The resignation is the latest chapter in a controversy that has plagued the Housing Authority for months.
