PERTH, Nov 18 Asia Pulse - NSW gaming group Tab Ltd (ASX:TAB) chairman Graham Kelly has asked his counterpart at Tabcorp Ltd (ASX:TAH) to pay Tab's A$5 million (US$3.6 million) break fee if it pulls out of a rival merger deal with UNiTAB Ltd (ASX:UTB).
Mr Kelly put three stipulations today to Tabcorp's Michael Robinson in a letter in which he asked for more details on the Victorian company's $3.2 billion merger proposal.
