Twenty-Five Year Communications Veteran Brings Key Brand and Leadership Expertise to Role
CANTON, Mass., Oct. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Dunkin' Brands, Inc., the parent company of quick service brands Dunkin' Donuts, Baskin-Robbins and Togo's, today announced the appointment of Margery B. Myers to the newly created position of Senior Vice President, Communications.
Ms. Myers will report directly to Jon L. Luther, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Dunkin' Brands. She will be responsible for external and internal communications for all three brands as well as the Dunkin' Brands corporate enterprise.
"Margie's depth of communications and brand expertise will be a critical asset as we continue to build mindshare, consumer loyalty and market share for Dunkin' Brands and our industry-leading portfolio of quick-service restaurant brands," remarked Luther. Ms. Myers brings more than 25 years of experience in the communications field on both the corporate and agency sides of the business to her new role on the Dunkin' Brands senior leadership team. Prior to joining Dunkin Brands, she served as vice president of corporate communications and public relations at Talbots, a leading national specialty retailer of women's, children's and men's apparel. During her 12-year tenure at Talbots, Ms. Myers developed and guided the company's corporate and brand communications strategy, overseeing executive communications, media relations, special events, relationship marketing, employee communications and corporate philanthropy.
Ms. Myers and her husband, Stephen, live in Hingham, MA and have two children.
