A music producer who worked with the late Canto-pop king Leslie Cheung Kwok-wing has wrested back control of the singer's master tapes after a judge found there was no reason to prevent his music production company from using the recordings.

In the Court of Appeal yesterday, Justice Doreen Le Pichon overturned an earlier injunction that prevented producer Alvin Leong Wing-jann from managing, operating and dealing with Cheung's recordings.
