Lagos, Nigeria (PANA) - Brewing company Guinness Nigeria Plc plans to invest 55 billion Naira in the next five years to boost its production capacity, according to the Managing Director, Keith Richards (128 Naira = 1 USD). Addressing stockbrokers at the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) in Lagos Thursday, Richards said the money would be spent "to meet the increasing demand for our company's high quality products."

He said one of the company's factories located in Lagos, recently upgraded to an ultra-modern status, would be producing 80,000 bottles of Guinness (stout) per hour.
