IMPERIAL LEATHER maker PZ Cussons is enjoying the sweet smell of success, with sales, profits - and share-price all on the up.
The company, whose operating profits topped GBP50m last year, saw shares increase by 4.54 per cent from 1112.5p to 1163p this week, in the MEN/Brewin Dolphin Index of shares in north west companies.
The Stockport firm has unveiled plans to expand sales of its Original Source brand, which it bought last year, for GBP11.3m.
The range, which uses natural oil fragrances, has so far beaten expectations, and its strategy of focusing on markets in the UK, Indonesia and Nigeria is also paying…
