Images of large buildings and roads metres away from the shores of Lake Burley Griffin have raised concerns the ACT Government has already planned a major waterfront development near the Acton ferry terminal. A city west draft masterplan, launched by the ACT Government yesterday, shows an artist's impression of what development in the area might look like when it is developed to link the water to Civic. Opposition planning spokeswoman Vicki Dunne said the level of detail shown in the draft masterplan suggested the Government already had firm plans for developing the shoreline.
