Health sector in Ho Chi Minh City has proposed the municipal government take measures to speed up the disbursement of capital to carry out equipment acquisition projects.
The city had decided to provide an amount of VND513 billion ($33 million) to purchase health equipment for the 2001-2003 period. The figure approved for January-September this year was VND109.4 billion ($7 million), but only VND50 billion ($3.2 million) has been put into operation so far.
