(BNamericas.com) - The Spanish unit of US industrial software developer Infor Global Solutions expects its sales in Latin America to represent 35% of total revenues in 2007, compared to 5% today, Infor Business Solutions Iberica board member Jose Vicente Ruiz told BNamericas.
"For Infor Iberica, Latin America is a highly important strategic market," Ruiz said.
The company started operating in the Chilean market in 2000, and now covers the country through five specialized partners: Alnitak, Vectium, Opta Consultores, Polo Sur and Cis IT Solutions.
During 2004 Infor Iberica also entered the markets of Mexico, Argentina, Venezuela and Uruguay, through distribution agreements with specialized partners from the industrial sector, Ruiz said.
The outlook for this year is positive for the whole area, especially Chile and Mexico, which generate more short-term business. ...
