Bangko Sentral to put up 'data warehouse'.

The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas aims to better utilize the large volume of information it collects from banks and financial institutions through the creation of a data warehouse.

The project, which it would implement with information technology services provider Soluziona Philippines, would serve as the main repository of financial and nonfinancial data submitted to the central bank.

Bangko Sentral Deputy Governor Alberto V. Reyes said the project would pave the way for a "more robust and stable financial system."
