ENGLEWOOD -- Two buildings recently purchased by Sarasota County from The Hermitage Artists Retreat are awaiting permits to be moved from Manasota Key to Buchan Airfield and Kiwanis Park.

The 10-sided Deltec Homes- built structures -- also known as roundhouses -- will be moved from the site of a planned condominium development across the street from Englewood Beach.

The Sarasota County Commission on March 16 approved the $90,000 purchase from The Hermitage by the Community Redevelopment Agency. An additional $30,000 was approved for setting the buildings in their new location and bringing …
