Beijing, 29 March: China's Ministry of Health refuted Tuesday [29 March] Internet stories about an ebola virus infection in a coastal city in south China's Guangdong Province as a sheer rumour.

The ministry said it has asked Guangdong provincial health bureau to confirm the information after an official noticed it on Internet.

There were no such cases according to reports from Shenzhen's Centre for Disease Prevention and Control, which had checked all the city's hospitals, the ministry said, quoting Tuesday's…
